Funeral service for Mr. Jimmy Taylor will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Gaines officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of services.
Mr. Taylor, 85, of Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away May 22, 2025, at Lebanon Health & Rehab.
Born Aug. 31, 1939, in Wilson County, Tennessee, he is the son of the late Herman and Lucille Locke Taylor.
He was a 1957 graduate of Lebanon High School and was a member of the Church of Christ. He retired from AVCO.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Judy Lynn Taylor and Marjorie Taylor; and a brother, Charles Eddie Taylor.
He is survived by his wife of over 51 years, Peggy Holder Taylor; sisters, Joanne Goad and Cindy (Dewey) Jackson; niece, Holly (Mark) Connor; nephews, Steven (Stephanie) Goad, Raymond Highers, and Drew (Christina) Jackson; great-nieces and nephews, Hunter Connor, Lily Goad, Taylor Jackson, Cole Highers, Brody Brown, Emily Brown, and Dylan Highers.
