McCall at chamber
Mayor Jack McCall presented a State of the County Address at the recent Chamber of Commerce meeting that included project updates and shared how grants are enabling community revitalization projects to be completed, but the loss of some federal funding has impacted other projects like the renovation to the Trousdale County Health Department. He discussed projected needs for the community such as a new jail and even potential school additions with the growth that is happening within the community. Traffic issues, TDOT projects, developing relationships with State leadership and opportunities for attractions that would draw visitors to area were highlighted. 鈥淭rousdale County has great elected officials 鈥 good people, doing a good job,鈥 said McCall. 鈥淭hey want to serve you well.鈥 The mayor also added he has enjoyed serving in this capacity and will run for re-election.
