Sign ups for the Community Help Center Rook Tournament began Monday, April 7 and will conclude on May 2. The tournament will be held at the First Baptist Church gym on May 5-6 and May 8. The Trousdale County Livestock Association will serve ribeye steak sandwich meals at the Trousdale County Farmers CO-OP, 225 W. McMurry Blvd., on Friday, April 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (or until sold out.) Funds raised from this event will benefit the UT Extension-Trousdale County Scholarship Fund. Plate lunch includes sandwich, chips, drink and dessert cake for $10.
The Trousdale County Football Lift-a-thon will be held Friday, April 25 at 6 p.m. in the Satterfield Middle School Gym, 210 Damascus St. Players will compete to earn money from sponsors/donors. For more information, contact Kyle Gregory at 615-374-5378.
The Trousdale Saddle Club show starts at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 25 at the Ole Red Arena, 75 Sleepy Hollow Lane, Hartsville. The event has free admission. A concession stand is available.
